Digital – birthday calendar, family recipes . Ear Ring Holder – for earrings and/or jewelery . Beautiful box and/or bag to store something specific . A portrait or painting that you did yourself . Homemade gifts are always welcome – I love homemade, natural bath products . Plants – Amaryllis, Paper White, Hyacinth or Succulents . A letter written to a loved one Consumables. Hello Reader, I know for myself it can be hard to ask for help. I have worked in the helping profession all my life and I was always there for others. When it came to myself it has been a different story. Thankfully, I do find it easier now! This question really hit me when my mom was 91 and she was living on her own. I had offered to help her to downsize many times but she was adamant that she could do it herself and did not need any help. Unfortunately, I did not see any evidence of this...
